Prof. Karen Borgenheimer has created dynamic courses for the advancement of interpreter training skills and preparation for certifications. Her interpreter training workshops have been a huge success in many states including Florida, where she has trained hundreds of certified interpreters and interpreters-in-training. She is a Continuing Education Provider for the States of Florida, Wisconsin, Texas, Colorado, New Mexico, Nevada and Pennsylvania.

Karen has been a university professor for 30 years and a professor of the Translation and Interpretation Program at Florida International University’s (FIU) for the past 15 years. With a proven track record of teaching excellence in the US and Spain, Karen brings this experience into the Interpreter Training Classroom, blending concepts and techniques with real-life applications–and a good dose of humor.
