The program is scheduled to give participants structured classroom activities, group tours as well as FREE time to breath in the fresh mountain air of San Lorenzo de El Escorial, hike the surrounding mountains or jump on the bus or train to Madrid and explore the hidden treasures of the capital city on your own. 

 

Day 1 - Saturday May 12, 2018 

Morning arrivals at Barajas Airport (Madrid)

4:00 pm    Group Walking tour of San Lorenzo de El Escorial / FREE TIME

SATURDAY, MAY 12, 2018: ARRIVAL AT MADRID BARAJAS AIRPORT TO SAN LORENZO DE EL ESCORIAL
Bus transportation from the Madrid Barajas International Airport to San Lorenzo de El Escorial will be provided at 9:00 am. Those participants arriving in Spain on a different date or time will be given explicit directions on how to travel to San Lorenzo de El Escorial. There is direct metro/train service from the airport to San Lorenzo de El Escorial. Information will be provided upon request. Travel time is approximately 1 hour.

SUNDAY, MAY 20, 2018: DEPARTURE FROM SAN LORENZO DE EL ESCORIAL TO MADRID BARAJAS AIRPORT
Bus transportation from San Lorenzo de El Escorial to the Madrid Barajas Airport will be provided from at 7:00 am. If you want airport transportation, please schedule your departure flight accordingly. Travel time from San Lorenzo de El Escorial to Madrid is approximately 1 hour.
